Help Us Complete The Job


Dear Fellow Al Gore Supporter,

In the last 60 hours we have received more than $19,000 from Gore supporters across the country. Thank you. We need to at least double this number. We have the professional petition circulaters ready to start working in the rural districts. Every dollar is needed to be spent immediately. Can you make a contribution today? Can you ask others to do the same? Please give what you can and forward this email to others. We must collect all the required signatures before December 4 to put Gore on the ballot .

In order to succeed, we need two things to happen: First, we need for you to keep collecting signatures in your districts. Our reject rate is running about 30%, on the average, so we need a minimum of 650 signatures to get the required 500 for each congressional district. Second, we need to raise another $11,000, at a minimum. One of our volunteers gave $3,000, while a non-volunteer gave $1,000 and others gave $500. The question is: How much is it worth to each of us for this to to succeed? We all must be involved. There are less than 4 weeks to go. Every contribution is important. Together, we can change the world. This is the moment.

We believe that putting Al Gore on the California ballot will go a long way toward bring him into the presidential race. Success in getting him on the California ballot, has national implications. He has left the door open to a possible run. Four years ago, he was very clear, saying "I will not run." He knows how to say say "no." We , instead, prefer to embrace his words near the end of his book The Assault on Reason: "It is my greatest hope that those who read this book will choose to become a part of a new movement to rekindle the true spirit of America." Choose now.
