Gore - Obama: A winning ticket! Meet fellow supporters of Al Gore and Barack Obama near you! Come to an Al Gore.org Meetup to get involved with our efforts to Draft Al Gore to run for President, and to organize grassroots support for his potential candidacy. Global Warming is the one issue that trumps all others, the only one with the potential to unite all political movements and all religious groups in a common effort to preserve the planet and human life as we know them. Al Gore understands the absolute seriousness of this issue and is able to communicate its implications effectively. Barack Obama understands this issue and has the dynamism to move people to take action. Gore and Obama understand as well the importance of other issues that can unite all Americans: achieving universal health care; protecting civil liberties while effectively bringing terrorists to justice; revitalizing American education for the 21st century. Let's persuade Senator Clinton to remain an excellent senator and fund raiser. The experience of Gore and the inspiration of Obama are what we need, not intraparty divisions. Meetings will be scheduled as membership reaches critical mass.
